Practitioner resources

Operationalizing Impact

Four resources for sustainability and ESG practitioners who have the ambition agreed and now have to run it: a stakeholder map, a RACI, a control register and a metrics dashboard. These are the governance mechanisms that put the sustainability team and the rest of the business on the same goals. That is how ambition becomes enterprise value, because accountability sits with named owners and the work is adopted by the functions that already run the company.

What is inside

Strategic alignment

Stakeholder map

Rate each group on influence and interest from one to five. The workbook places them on a 2×2 and returns the posture to take, so you know where to spend your influence and where not to.

Governance & accountability

RACI workbook

List your sustainability activities, name the functions rather than the people, and assign exactly one accountable owner per row. A built-in check flags any row that has none or more than one.

Measurement & controls

COSO-aligned controls

Map each material risk to one of the five COSO components, then record the control, its owner, how often it runs and the evidence it produces. Your auditors already recognize the structure.

Enterprise integration

Metrics dashboard

Eight to twelve KPIs, each tied to a material topic and to a financial metric someone owns. Progress against target and on-track status calculate themselves from baseline, current and target.
